Half a Year Has Come and Gone!

The twins are officially 6 months old! It is crazy how quickly time passes when you are busy feeding, burping, changing, playing, rocking, soothing, laughing, crying, swinging, and bouncing with two sweet babies! Then again, it feels like it has been forever since I had that huge baby belly, the dreaded bed rest, the trips to the hospital, and the lovely 8 months of all day sickness! It was all completely worth it! Now, as I look over the past 6 months I am proud at how big and strong both Levi and Lila have become! I am very excited for the months and years to come!

Food, food, food!

The babies have been enjoying solid food (or maybe I should say pureed food) for the past two months. Let me tell you, they are really loving it! When we first started out they didn't really know what to think about the cereal.
What is this?

I don't think I like this!

Gross Mom!

I'm not liking this!

Now, they kick their legs and squeal with excitement when I put them in their highchairs! Of course, we have moved on from plain rice cereal to cereal with fruits and vegetables! I hope their enthusiasm for fruits and vegetables will continue and they continue to be good, healthy eaters!

Waiting for our breakfast cereal! We love our newest addition of Pears!

4th of July

We had a great first 4th of July with our little family! We relaxed, took the babies to see their great grandmothers and celebrated with a nice family dinner with my parents, sisters, and brother in law. The twins are almost 6 months old and I can hardly believe it! They have all the sudden changed from babies to little people! Here are some pictures in their patriotic attire.

Best Buddies!
