A Proverbs Woman

She is clothed with strength and dignity,
and she laughs without fear of the future.
 When she speaks, her words are wise,
and she gives instructions with kindness.
 She carefully watches everything in her household
and suffers nothing from laziness.

Her children stand and bless her.
Her husband praises her:
“There are many virtuous and capable women in the world,
but you surpass them all!”

Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last;
but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised.
 Reward her for all she has done.
Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.

Proverbs 31:25-31

What better gift in life than the love of a mother who reflects the virtues of a Proverbs 31 woman! A mother who is always there to listen, encourage, and inspire. A woman who puts others before herself and always has the interests and needs of her children (and grandchildren) before her own! Someone who is truly there to rejoice with you in times of gladness and to cry with you in times of sadness. A mother who pours her life into yours and your children in every aspect. Who prays for you daily and thinks of you often. Who teaches you the truths of the Bible and the lessons in life and then inspires you to do the same with your children. Who does everything in her power to protect you, but then is there to pick you up when you she cannot. Yes, the love of MY mother is all these things and so much more! I cannot even imagine where I would be without her and the love that she gives to me and my family! The help she provides and the friendship she offers! Yes my mother is a jewel that I will treasure forever!!
